4 Bonds represents the love and enduring connection between a mother and her daughters.

We were the fearsome “foursome”, my little sister not so much. :) Our father left much of the rearing and discipline to our mother, probably because we were girls.  My mother would take us on the bus to the movies, Hudson’s Department Store and to visit friends and relatives. She and my father were avid readers. She read poetry to us at a young age, “The Village Blacksmith” by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow and “Trees” by Joyce Kilmer come to mind. She was fiercely protective of her three girls. Although she graduated high school and never had a high paying job, she somehow managed to have all three of us finish four years of college with degrees.

My mother was and is my hero!  When she became ill, she admonished us to stay together and be there for each other no matter the circumstance. She and my sister left us too early. I cherish both of their memories and dedicate this website to all of us, the 4 Bonds.
